About Dr. Giunta
I've always been drawn to aesthetics, ever since I was young. If medicine hadn’t been my path, architecture would have been my choice, captivated as I was by proportions, clean lines, and the idea of shaping something lasting. Plastic surgery became my way of answering this calling—a meeting point between precision and creativity. Each procedure is a unique experience for me, a silent dialogue between forms and volumes, between what is visible and what lies beneath. I don’t seek to transform, but to harmonize. My role is to listen, to observe, and then to bring forth the beauty that already exists, hidden within every face, every body.
Dr. Gabriele Giunta is a dual board-certified plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon in Italy and Belgium, and a member of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. He earned his medical degree in 2012 and completed his specialized training in 2018 at the University of Palermo, Italy.
Dr. Giunta has trained extensively across Europe, including international fellowships at UniversitätsSpital Zürich in Switzerland, UZ Brussel in Belgium, and CHU de Bordeaux in France. He has a particular interest in breast, lower extremity, and head and neck reconstruction, as well as aesthetic breast surgery, body contouring, facial surgery, and non-surgical treatments like fillers and botulinum toxin.
In 2019, Dr. Giunta became a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery (FEBOPRAS) and joined the Plastic Surgery Department at UZ Brussels. Since 2021, he has also served as a consultant plastic surgeon at CHIREC-Delta Hospital. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Dr. Giunta has authored numerous scientific publications and regularly speaks at national and international conferences.
